Can the Granite be Installed Without Seams?
Yes and No. Depending on the size of the area you wish to cover with granite. Typically anything over 8 or 9 ft requires a seam. We will do our best to make sure any seams are located where you want them and are as unobtrusive as possible.

How Heavy is Granite?
Depending on thickness, granite weighs approximately 17 pounds per square foot for 1¼” thickness and 14 pounds per square foot for ¾” thickness.

Does Granite Stain?
If a stain is left unattended for an extended period of time (weeks) it will penetrate the surface. With proper care and maintainence, your granite surface will look as good as the day it was installed for the life of your home.

Can I Set Hot Pots and Pans on My Granite?
Placing hot pots and pans will not damage your granite countertop or surface.

Is Granite Scratch Resistant?
Granite is scratch resistant.

Do I Have to Seal My Granite?
Your granite surface is sealed when it leaves our shop.
