The most challenging situation for contractors when working on schools is the schedule. The newly constructed Providence Academy was no exception to this. Work had to be completed before the start of the school year. The project called for over 40,000 square feet of tile installation with a heavy emphasis on beauty and design. Grazzini workers carefully set the corridors and stairways with tiles set at a 45 degree angle and framed by a 12 inch border along the perimeter. Work continued with the installation of ceramic wainscot and chair rails in the twelve washroom areas. The school chapel features an additional 1,500 square feet of ceramic tile and an alter area finished in Verde marble. Finally, the kitchen floor was covered with quarry tile and the walls were set with ceramic tile. Grazzini tile setters were able to complete the project on time and to the high standard established by the architect.
