Rudy Luther’s Hopkins Honda is a perfect example of how form and function can work together to create a flooring system that is both beautiful and durable. The showroom’s open, modern design required a flooring system that flowed seamlessly between the showroom and service areas. Through the use of borders, metal transitions, and random and circular patterns a seamless, modern look was achieved.
Flooring durability was critical because cars are constantly being driven and maintained on the tile surface. To ensure durability, Grazzini installed crack isolation membrane on the entire floor system before installing tile and epoxy was used in the grouting phase.
