Minneapolis has a reputation for weather extremes. Its downtown area features an elaborate skyway system, which allows pedestrians to navigate the streets without ever going outside. Terrazzo was deemed the best and most durable surface for the traffic pattern. The architect’s design was achieved by Grazzini combining an Epoxy Matrix Color and Glass Aggregates in different sizes. The final flooring system features a sleek, clean design with subtle design features. The work was finished on time and on budget with minimal interruption to pedestrian traffic.
