Renovations and remodels can be difficult because of unexpected problems that are uncovered during demolition. During the remodeling of The Pinnacle, a deteriorating concrete underbed was exposed. Before the Epoxy Terrazzo flooring could be installed, a flat-finished elevation had to be achieved. Patching and leveling the floor with concrete was not an option because of the time it would have taken to cure properly. In order to meet the schedule, Grazzini problem-solved the situation by installing a 2” Epoxy underbed. This provided the smooth, even surface necessary to install the Epoxy Terrazzo correctly while meeting the contractor’s schedule. The project was completed successfully and on time.
