Taking an artist’s vision and turning it into reality can be daunting – making it durable and practical can be challenging – doing it on a large scale can be almost impossible. Grazzini met all of these goals with the completion of the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts. Grazzini was asked to create a Terrazzo flooring system based on the mural design of Miami artist Jose Bedia. To bring his vision to life, Grazzini prefabricated various forms in Minnesota and shipped them to Miami where they were integrated into the overall Epoxy Terrazzo flooring system. The final product is not only highly durable, it is breathtakingly beautiful.
