Brief description of project:
An important piece to a project’s success is paying attention to detail. With a project the size of Wells Fargo Financial, it was critical. Before the project started, Grazzini staff accompanied the owner and architect to Tivoli, Italy to select the Travertine blocks. Grazzini worked closely with John Pickard, Mariotti Carlo SPA, and Primo and Fabrizio Mariotti (stone supplier) to establish selection criteria and sizing. This level of attention provided ease of installation and ensured the project met with the architect’s vision.

Grazzini’s experience and attention to detail also proved valuable in the installation of the main lobby stairs and water feature. Each step weighed approximately six-hundred and fifty pounds and had to be set perfectly level. An additional challenge was the water feature made from Absolute Black Granite. The Grazzini project manager and lead installer worked to develop a system of installation, which ensured that each granite weir was set perfectly level allowing water to flow over at a uniform depth across the entire length of the weir.
