Creating outdoor flooring systems that can withstand temperature fluctuations while providing a safe surface to walk on can be very challenging. The American Express Tower in Minneapolis called for just such a system. Grazzini’s vast experience and strong product knowledge provided the expertise to get the job done correctly. Working closely with the architect, Grazzini developed a system whereby 20” x 20” granite pavers were fresh set into a concrete underbed. Control joints where strategically placed in areas to allow movement in the system due to freeze and thaw cycles. The final result is a beautiful yet durable exterior walking surface.
